[ She's quiet for a minute, chewing on her lip. It's a bad habit, one that sometimes leaves the skin around her mouth a little raggedy. ]
Can I come over?
[ It's stupid, but she wants to see him. See that he's real, for sure here, not somehow talking to her from another universe. She doesn't want him to be here. And at the same time, she really does. ]
[Cam wants to see her too, and selfishly, he's glad she wants to see him.
His conversation with Calhoun had made him feel... momentarily insecure in their relationship. Cam doesn't see Athena all that often, but he's watched her grow up, and her aunt is one of his best friends.]
I should warn you I'm still in communal housing, until I finish making arrangements with my employer for my private residence. We may have... company.
[ It takes her a little bit to find the entrance to the place, but as soon as she walks in she makes a mental note to remember where it is. It smells amazing.
That it took her a while probably means Cam is there already. She scans the room for him, still not really expecting to find him, still hoping he's... like.... some kind of computer simulation or something. Not that she doesn't want to see him.
